Today I wanted to share some “Insider knowledge” as a professional Krav Maga Instructor. I want to address the subject of Krav Maga for Beginners. 

My name is Paul Grey. I have been a professional Krav Maga Instructor since 2005. As training Director of the British Krav Maga Association, I have taught and certified more professional Krav Maga Instructors than anyone in the UK. Importantly I have an unusual insite into the training of Krav Maga Instructors, coaching and teaching methodology, and the martial arts industry as a whole. 

Every new year Krav Maga Bristol is bombarded by enquiries about training. The leisure industry has become highly cynical  about theses enquiries seeking to cash in quick due to the volume that start and stop in a short space of time.

Gym chains are well aware that over 80% of these new year members will have stopped training  within 12 weeks and a staggering 59% will have stopped by the end of January.
