 Self Defence Insructor Course - BTECT L.3 Award

Candidates will cover legal and practical aspects of running Self Defence courses in addition to  normal skill based training and teaching practice.

It can be quite frustrating working with potential Instructors.  We can only accept around 1 on 3 applicants for Krav Maga Instructor training and we have to turn some really great candidates away, especially when we start looking at peoples ability to commit 24 days to a course.

We are passionate about training and supporting a more professional standard of instructor than the industry norm. In 2013 and 2014 we had a range of highly successful start ups but were frustrated by the number of high quality candidates we could not help to teach as they could not commit to a 24 day instructor training programme.

 We did not want to water down the standards of the Krav Maga Instructor Programme, (we actually increased this from 18 to 24 days)  but we did want to offer a credible alternative to those wanting a recognised qualification that was not as demanding or time consuming as Full Krav Maga Instructor training.

My feeling was and still is that British Krav Maga Graduate Instructor Training Programme is the gold standard Instructor Qualification here in the UK and diminishing it serves no constructive puropose. Especially if you are one of those who toiled, fought and worked so hard to pass it.
